Terms and Conditions:
1. Risk and Transportation:
- I understand that my cat(s) are boarded at my own risk.
- I agree to transport the cat(s) in an appropriate cat carrier.
- Mews Boarding Cattery assumes responsibility for the cat(s) once they are within the confines of the cattery, excluding the garden and offices.
2. Veterinary Care:
- If my cat becomes ill during its stay, Mews Boarding Cattery will contact my vet to discuss the problem.
- If my veterinary practice is close to the cattery, Mews Boarding Cattery will transport the cat to the practice.
- For other practices, Mews Boarding Cattery will transport the cat to Mildmay Veterinary Hospital Winchester if necessary.
- All fees associated with veterinary care will be at my expense.
- Mews Boarding Cattery reserves the right to refuse boarding if the cat is deemed too unwell, unless a veterinary surgeon has determined otherwise.
3. Medication:
- If my cat(s) require medication during their stay, Mews Boarding Cattery will administer it free of charge.
- I agree to provide written consent for Mews Boarding Cattery to administer medication.
- I will provide a written list of dosages and times for administration.
- The medication must be in a clearly labeled container.
- I will provide enough medication to last for the entire stay.
4. Diet and Supplies:
- Mews Boarding Cattery will feed my cat(s) the same diet they have at home.
- I understand that Mews Boarding Cattery cannot provide prescription or specialist diets, so I need to bring them.
- I can bring bedding or toys for my cat(s), but Mews Boarding Cattery is not responsible for any loss or damage.
5. Arrival, Departure, and Payments:
- All arrivals and departures must occur during the cattery's opening times.
- Any arrivals or departures outside of the opening times will incur an out-of-hours fee, unless previously agreed with the cattery management.
- Deposits are due from the date of the booking and must be paid within 2 weeks.
- Payment can be made through bank transfer or credit/debit card.
- Mews Boarding Cattery does not store or share customer details, ensuring secure transactions.
- Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a later booking.
- Fees are payable upon departure and can be paid by credit/debit card or bank transfer.
6. Confirmation, Changes, and Cancellations:
- Mews Boarding Cattery will email a confirmation form after receiving instructions, but it's important to review and ensure the details are correct.
- Changes to the booking during peak times may be difficult or impossible, and the cat(s) may be placed in holding pens instead of chalets.
- A disruption fee of £15.00 may be charged in such instances.
- Cancellation fees apply as follows:
- Less than 21 days' notice: 50% of the total booking amount.
- Less than 10 days' notice: 75% of the total booking amount.
- Less than 48 hours' notice or failure to show up: full amount of the booking.
- Fees become payable on departure, and payment can be made by credit/debit card or bank transfer.
